Former `Canes linebacker Ray Lewis is on the sidelines. His brother Keon Lattimore is a running back for Maryland. During the game, they asked Lewis if UM could regroup after the Oklahoma loss. Here's what he said:
"Yeah, I truly believe they can, but it look like it's going to be a couple years. The camaraderie has to come back there. We saw the Oklahoma game. I'm like, `Wow, is Oklahoma that good or did we take that big a fall?' And it kind of looks like we took that big a fall. But Randy (Shannon) is going to get the program right there and get the players in the right positions to make plays. We'll be back."
Linebacker Ray Lewis, quarterback Steve McNair and offensive tackle Jonathan Ogden all did not participate in team practice for the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday.
Ogden aggravated a hyperextended toe that has been bothering him since last year during Monday's loss to Cincinnati, and is being evaluated on a week-to-week basis.
