Today in Washington, President Bush plans to name retired federal judge Michael Mukasey to replace Alberto Gonzales as Attorney General of the United States. That's according to senior administration officials this morning and reaction may be surprising.
Resistance is so far coming from Republicans. This could be the President's last major cabinet appointment. By all indications he's looking to avoid a battle.
